The first 5km are neutral… you can’t fall behind.
40km/h with some tail wind, slight drop in elevation, with 50 other riders is not a big deal. I was coasting half the time.

You mean SEPT 16, not Oct 16 (that’s your half marathon day! )
Was there a reason why everyone fell behind in the 1st 5km?? hmmm, don’t think I’ll ever be at the Centurion level….. Geez, 40km/hr at 21km. How in the world?? and I don’t recall any descents!!!
